Duke of Edinburgh Gold Expedition
Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award
After many training expeditions in the Mournes, 12 pupils travelled to Glencoe, Scotland, for an expedition in the West Highlands. They were in Scotland from 24th – 30th June. The expedition was 4 days long. They were split into two groups and each had to self-sufficient, carrying their own food, clothing, tents and anything else that may have been needed over the four days. This was done as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.
